Pool Openings

Our pool opening services are designed to get your pool ready for the season efficiently and effectively. Whether you opt for the Premier, No Cover, or DIY Pool Opening packages, each service includes essential tasks such as cleaning debris, removing winter plugs, starting pool equipment, and checking the operation of pool and spa heaters. Additionally, we reinstall necessary hardware like baskets, cleaners, ladders, and handrails. Services are tailored to accommodate different needs, with options including professional adjustments of water chemistry to ensure safe heater operation and the removal and storage of pool covers if applicable.

Premier Pool Opening

  • Clean debris from cover and deck
  • Remove pool/spa cover and fold
  • Store pool cover on site
  • Recess deck anchors
  • Reinstall drain plugs in pool equipment
  • Remove winter plugs installed in skimmers and returns
  • Start pool equipment
  • Reinstall baskets, automatic cleaner (Polaris), ladder(s) and handrail(s)
  • Check pool/spa heater operation
  • Assess water drips and/or leaks and attempt to repair (dependent on extent of problem)
  • Program automated system (if applicable)
  • Leaf Vacuum pool/spa (up to 30 minutes)
  • Brush pool/spa walls and water line tile
  • Test Water Chemistry Adjust pH to allow for safe heater operation

No Cover Pool Opening

  • Clean debris from deck
  • Reinstall drain plugs in pool equipment
  • Remove winter plugs installed in skimmers and returns
  • Start pool equipment
  • Reinstall baskets, automatic cleaner (Polaris), ladder(s) and handrail(s)
  • Check pool/spa heater operation
  • Assess water drips and/or leaks and attempt to repair (dependent on extent of problem)
  • Program automated system (if applicable)
  • Leaf Vacuum pool/spa (up to 30 minutes)
  • Brush pool/spa walls and water line tile
  • Test Water Chemistry Adjust pH to allow for safe heater operation

DIY
Pool Opening

  • Reinstall drain plugs in pool equipment
  • Remove winter plugs installed in skimmers and returns
  • Start pool equipment
  • Reinstall baskets, automatic cleaner (Polaris), ladder(s) and handrail(s)
  • Check pool/spa heater operation
  • Assess water drips and/or leaks and advise homeowner
  • Leaf Vacuum pool/spa (up to 30 minutes)

Pool Closings

Our pool closing services are designed to prepare your pool for the off-season with meticulous care. We offer three tiers of service: Premier, No Cover, and DIY Pool Closing. Each service begins with cleaning the pool and spa decks and netting out leaves. Key processes include lowering the water level, blowing out water from plumbing lines, plugging lines with expansion plugs, and adding winterizing anti-freeze as needed. The Premier service additionally includes removing and cleaning filter grids, adding winterization chemicals, and securing the winter cover with either safety cover anchors or water bags. The No Cover and DIY options cater to different levels of client involvement, with each ensuring your pool is well-protected against the elements, helping to maintain its condition throughout the winter months.

Premier Pool CLosing

$455.00

  • Remove debris from adjacent pool/spa decks
  • Net out leaves from pool/spa (½ hour included. Excess debris removal will be charged additionally $70.00 per 1/2 hour)
  • Lower water level approximately 12” – 18” below the tile
  • Air blow water from plumbing lines
  • Plug plumbing lines with rubber expansion plugs
  • Add winterizing anti-freeze where needed
  • Remove filter grids, hose off and reassemble filter
  • Remove all drain plugs on filter system
  • Add necessary winterization chemicals
  • Thread out safety pool cover anchors or fill water bags (solid cover)
  • Put on winter cover and secure

No Cover Pool Closing

$405.00

  • Remove debris from adjacent pool/spa decks
  • Net out leaves from pool/spa (½ hour included. Excess debris removal will be charged additionally $70.00 per 1/2 hour)
  • Lower water level approximately 2” below skimmer opening
  • Air blow water from plumbing lines
  • Plug plumbing lines with rubber expansion plugs
  • Add winterizing anti-freeze where needed
  • Remove filter grids, hose off and reassemble filter
  • Remove all drain plugs on filter system
  • Add necessary winterization chemicals

DIY
Pool Closing

$305.00

  • Net out leaves from pool/spa (½ hour included. Excess debris removal will be charged additionally $50.00 per 1/2 hour)
  • Air blow water from plumbing lines – Customer is to lower the water below the skimmer lines prior to our arrival
  • Plug plumbing lines with rubber expansion plugs
  • Add winterizing anti-freeze where needed
  • Remove filter grids and leave out
  • Remove all drain plugs on filter system
